Our staff of professionals includes Addiction Counselors, Board Certified Addictionologist, RNs, and Clinical Program Assistants. Phoenix Recovery Center is licensed by The State of Maryland.

What Can You Expect During Your Treatment At Phoenix Recovery Center
At intake you will undergo a brief assessment, history and physical, then assigned the appropriate detox protocol. Treatment will include group counseling sessions, educational lectures, and relapse prevention.
We also offer other therapeutic approaches which include acudetox, Wii therapy, guided meditation, walking groups, gender groups, aromatherapy, Canine Therapy, Music Therapy group, Drum therapy, and a Family Education Program.
Our facility in Edgewood Maryland also offers recreational activities such as basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, and Wii sports during free time in addition to power walking on the campus.
Your main focus will be on early recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Group counseling is the primary treatment method used. This will allow you to learn from others who are going through similar circumstances and gain support while listening and sharing. Individual sessions will be provided when appropriate. Near the end of your treatment, you will receive an individualized Continuing Care Plan specific to your needs.
You will be treated with dignity and respect and your personal rights and anonymity will be protected.
We offer a supervised living environment during non treatment hours. This includes a semi-private bedroom with bath, complete dining facilities, a comfortable community room and separate male and female laundry rooms. You will receive three freshly prepared and nutritionally balanced meals per day. You will be safe and secure with around the clock Clinical Program Assistant coverage.
