OUR PROGRAM

We are privately owned and have been helping men and women recover from alcohol and drug addiction since 2000. Our program is licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Office of Healthcare Quality. We believe that addiction is a treatable disease that can be arrested through multiple treatment philosophies and techniques. Our trained staff of professionals includes Licensed Addictions Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Medical Staff (for detoxification only), Clinical Program Assistants, and Insurance Professionals. They understand the process of recovery and can provide you with the most effective treatment possible.

What Can You Expect

At intake, you can expect a medically supervised detoxification. Your treatment will include group counseling sessions, educational lectures, and relapse prevention. You will also be introduced to, and participate in 12 Step programs like AA and NA.

In addition to traditional treatment methods, we also offer other successful therapeutic approaches including acupuncture, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), art therapy, recreational therapy, Wii therapy, experiential groups, stress management groups, aromatherapy, and a Family Education Program. All of this is included in the cost of treatment.

Your focus will be on early recovery from addiction. Group counseling is the primary treatment method used. This will allow you to learn from others who are going through similar circumstances and gain support while listening and sharing. Individual sessions will be provided when appropriate. Near the end of your treatment, you will receive an individualized Continuing Care Plan specific to your needs. You will be treated with dignity and respect and your personal rights and anonymity will be protected.

Affordability

Phoenix Recovery Center is committed to maintaining a new standard of affordable treatment in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Alcohol and drug treatment does not have to be expensive in order to be effective.

Many Insurance Plans may cover a part or all of the cost of your treatment. Self pay options are also available. Our professional staff will assist you with Insurance questions or any other financial arrangements you need to make. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

Accomodations

We offer you a unique feature of a supervised living environment during non-treatment hours. This will include a semi-private room with full bath, complete dining facilities, a comfortable community room, and separate male and female laundry facilities. You will receive three freshly prepared and nutritionally balanced meals per day, and around the clock Clinical Program Assistant coverage.
